Embroidery is an excellent option for retail or workwear/uniforms where a classic and hard wearing decoration method is preferred. 

 

We use sustainable threads (both top and underthreads) along with sustainmable biodegradeable backing. You can choose from 100% Tencel threads for a natural matt feel or our recycled polyester threads for a satin sheen.

 

Our Tencel threads along with our plastic free and biodegradeable backing can be combined to create a completely plastic free embroidery.

Embroidery explained

Digitisation

Your digital artwork needs to be converted into a series of stitch types, stitch lengths and thread colours and sequence in a format that the embroidery machin e can understand.

Backing and hoop choice

The desired backing and most appropriate 'hoop' is chosen for the garment type and embroidery position.

Stitching the design

Once set up will the sequence of threads and correct thread colours loaded along with the garment, the stitching can begin. 100s of stitches per minute with desins from a few thousand stitiches to 100s of thousands of stitches.

04

Finishing

Once the embroidery has finished the backing needs to be removed and any long threads left over on the back or linking threads on the front of the embroidery need to be trimmed.
