Here at Get A Grip we believe that our team deserve a wage that matches a realistic lifestyle and the responsibilities that come with it. While it is currently a voluntary choice for companies to pay their employees a higher wage, we believe that the real Living Wage is a moral responsibility that many companies should be a part of.

 

 

In the UK, the real Living Wage is the only wage rate that is voluntarily paid by over 7,000 businesses which support their memebers of staff in earning a wage that meets every day needs. From weekly shops to unforseen circumstances, these needs must be supported.

 

The real Living Wage rates are higher than minimum wage due to the rate of pay being independently-calculated based on what people realistically need to earn rather than a government base-value. 

That's why at Get A Grip, we support, encourage and advocate for employers that can afford to pay a wage that meets the real cost of living.
